Spring has finally arrived and it is wonderful!  It seemed like winter lingered a little longer than usual, but that's pobably because we were chasing it around Colorado and northern New Mexico this year.  It's here now though and in full bloom.

We had a great time with Dylan during his Spring Break, visiting a natural hot spring (see, it's a theme!) in Jemez and also the hot tubs at Ten Thousand Waves here in Santa Fe.  It was hard to decide which we liked better, natural or man-made, so in the end we gave up trying and just relaxed!  We also enjoyed plenty of green chile and sopapillas at the local restaurants and hours of card games (Crunch is the current favorite) with Gunner and Missy.

Since then, Dylan has been busy performing with his band (!) Chatterbox.  They played their first gig in a coffee shop during an open mike night and then performed for Aldo Leopold's talent show.  Video of their coffee shop performance can be seen on Dylan's YouTube channel in the Family Pages section.

Video is something Dylan has been getting into lately, having bought his own video camera after saving up his allowance.  The footage taken on the school playground (something that has since been forbidden) is exciting and nerve racking for us older, parental types, but his interaction with the playground monitor is classic Michael Moore.
